02 · Understand VALife
The premium. The wait. The benefit.
VALife offers eligible veterans guaranteed-acceptance whole life coverage. It has a two-year waiting period for the full death benefit.
Generally, eligibility requires a VA service-connected disability rating (including 0%) and age 80 or younger. Premiums remain fixed if the policy stays in force.
